@michelehormonehealth: Low estrogen and low testosterone can both cause low libido, fatigue, brain fog, and mood changes. The clue I look for first isn’t always the symptom itself—it’s often what changed first. my first symptoms were shorter cycles and disrupted sleep, as well as a harder time exercising- especially running and especially sprints and treadmill running. I started with just progesterone and it's been wonderful. added estrogen and it seems to be doing nothing, but I'm on a very low dose. I kind of wanted to play around with the estrogen before adding testosterone, but does this seem more likely a testosterone issue?

I have been on 1mg of transdermal estrogen and 200 mg of Prometrium for 6 months. I added only 2.5 mg of testosterone 6 weeks ago and yesterday I had cramps and a big bleed. Seems like I’m converting the T into estrogen. I just can’t take any more Prometrium because I already hate it. It makes me feel so depressed and hungover in the mornings. But I need more T because I don’t even notice it. What can I do to get more protection to my uterus?

3 years post hysterectomy, kept ovaries, but in Sept they went wild and I got SO many more symptoms of peri. Started Oestra vaginal cream that IS systemic, 3mg E/100mg P. Amazing symptom reduction in the first week and now at 4 Mos I feel great. Still no libido. I'm good and happy if he initiates, but it is literally not a though in my mind. Thinking of adding a teeny bit of t gel once a week. I don't think it is E at all because all of those symptoms are gone.
