No napping? That kid will be ready for bed at 7:30! Backyard 3-4:30. Snack. Cook dinner 5:30 eat at 6, bath, reading from 6:30, done!

No I get this. It really helps if they’re young to be able to just take them somewhere to burn off the energy, or let them have 20 mins tv time

I’m cool with everything except the no napping. We can play and imagine for hours, but the second they get that cranky tired attitude I’m put off.

All these things individually are no issue!! It only gets tricky as a nanny when you’re there every day and the kids get tired or cranky, and things like naps, short screen time, and leaving the house for a walk are no longer an option to help with regulation. Just a preference of mine, of course!!

😂 You need screen time to watch kids for 4hrs? I’m a sahm we go days without tv, play in the yard, bake, paint, read books, scooter/bike and no one naps I’m with them alone from when they wake up at 730 til my husband gets home around 6 you gotta get more creative friend I’m pregnant doing all this too

I actually prefer babysitting for families like this. The kids are usually pretty well behaved and entertain themselves easily in my experience

Heavy on the no screen time and no leaving the house but we on a schedule over here! My toddler 10000% will have a nap from 12-2 and be well rested for that 3-7 and loves playing outside! I’ll never understand the no naps under the age of 3/4.

i babysit five kids alone from 7-7 and there’s no way i could do no screen time. no naps? i can work with at least with the older kids. but the toddlers? nah. they getting a nap. and them older kids? y’all can have all the tv you want if it means we’re not arguing.

I don't understand the no leaving the house... but I have a family with all the other ones, I find it helpful to make a schedule and definitely include "quiet time" instead of nap time where they leave u alone for a bit lol
