Green Bean Sausage Alfredo Thing Today’s playlist: Alexa’s 80s Mellow Gold. Usually I’m listening to Hot Rock, but today we switched it up and apparently that was exactly what this Green Bean Sausage Alfredo Thing needed. This recipe is no stranger around here. It’s one of my most viral recipes, and every time I make it, people remember why. It’s not fancy. It doesn’t have a better name. It’s just ridiculously good. Ingredients * 24 oz fresh green beans, washed and trimmed * Olive oil spray * Garlic powder * Onion powder * Italian seasoning * Grated Parmesan cheese * 2 lbs ground sausage (I use a mix of mild and hot) * 15 oz jar Alfredo sauce * 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese * Chopped mushrooms (optional) * Bacon bits * Extra Parmesan and Italian seasoning for topping (optional) Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Spread the green beans on a sheet pan. Spray with olive oil and season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. 3. Brown the sausage in a skillet until fully cooked with plenty of crispy browned bits. 4. Spread the sausage over the green beans. 5. Add mushrooms to all or part of the pan if using. 6. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. 7. Spoon the Alfredo sauce over the top. (The order of the cheese and sauce doesn’t really matter.) 8. Sprinkle generously with bacon bits. 9. Top with a little extra Parmesan and Italian seasoning if desired. 10. Bake for 20–25 minutes, depending on how crunchy you like your green beans. 11. Serve hot. This recipe has green beans, sausage, bacon, cheese, and Alfredo sauce. At this point the green beans are basically there for emotional support. #greenbean #sheetpandinner #EasyRecipe #familydinner #Recipe
