Those are not trivia facts to make failure cute. They show that the raw material of winning is stacked-up losses that were not treated as final verdicts. Each attempt teaches you something the previous one could not. You learn which moves do not work, you refine timing, you build the grit to stay calm under pressure. By the time attempt number ten or a hundred lands, you are not the same person who started. The "losing" was the training. The phrase also pushes back on perfectionism.
