she was saved but the reason she was in that room was because when you enter the backrooms you are remembered and thats why there is still lives. as the scientists were saying how they enter everyday it actually expands the backrooms ti it grows every time someone enters so it would be impossible to explore the whole backrooms.

she DID escape the backrooms, the giant doorway where the hazmat suits drop her off in the other side IS the portal, that is the way they are able to enter and exit the backrooms, but still, her fate is up to our imagination since A-sync won't really let her go with the info she has about the Backrooms already.
