Also let's not forget that in EURO 2016 Portugal had the easiest tournament run out of any team that ever won the euros. I mean a group with Iceland, Hungary and Austria, finished 3rd in the group so barely made past the group stages. Then the knockouts, RO16 Croatia, quarter-finals Poland, semi-final Wales and then the final where they finally faced a strong team was France and Ronaldo got injured and subbed off in 25th minute and Portugal still managed to win 1-0 in extra time without him.
