Silván Álamo :
When it comes to happiness, the question is not how much money you have access to, but where do you put your value?
If you decide your value equals your money, which is what capitalism wants us to feel, then try to have as much as possible. But, just so you know, there're other places you can put your value in: wisdom, friendship, family, partner, career, contact with nature, arts, community service, sports, self development. You won't find the one and just the one, since happiness is not a destination, but a process. You choose 3 or 4 and put your value (confidence, sense of wholeness, purpose...) on them. You simply be aware every now and then on which one you're putting your value at that time. You'll grow, with the time you'll understand your value is not in any of those neither, but in your ability to bring consciousness to the fact that you tend to relate your personal value to inconsistent events.
