Thank you for all that you have shared, when my dad was newly diagnosed the videos really helped me. He is still here but dementia has pretty much taken him now I get little glimpses of the man he was but even that is getting rarer. It's coming to care time and getting external help which is making it even more of a reality. Sending my love and wish you every success

I know this will be a tough read as its my life right now. Unfortunately both my parents have dementia, both in care now. Mum nearing the end. But just ordered Kayleigh. Will probably cry my way through the pages. Happy Heavenly birthday to your mum 🫶🏻😘 x

I know that feeling. my dad was diagnosed 13yrs ago went into a care home nearly 4yrs ago feel like hes gone already but still waiting for that day. My mum was diagnosed same 3yrs ago kept her at home but passed away 5weeks ago. lost her twice. got to do it all again when my dad passes :(

Going through the exact same with my mum. Diagnosed at 66. Only the people who go through it understand. It’s worse than cancer. Miss my mum everyday and she is here. Went in to a care home 2025 and day she went in a part of me died with her.
