@mikeysaenz53: Looking back, they had every reason to doubt me. The truth is, if I saw my first tattoos back then, I probably would’ve doubted me too. The lines weren’t clean. The designs weren’t great. I made mistakes. A lot of them. But talent wasn’t the difference. I just kept showing up. Kept putting in the work. Kept learning. Kept tattooing. Kept improving. Most people see the finished work and think it happened overnight. They don’t see the years of bad tattoos, long nights, self doubt, and repetition that got me here. Every artist you admire has a version of themselves they’re glad they didn’t quit on.
