@megstearoom: The tea room is heading to the UK! ☕️✨ I am so excited for this cozy adventure over the pond and hope you’ll be down to join me. I’ll be sharing content here and on my YT channel throughout the summer. In the meantime, any suggestions for must-sees or must-eats, please let me know in the comments! 💛 #megstearoom #fyp #cozyliving #cozyathome
I will warn you. if your coming to my lovely country beware of heat. if we have a heatwave whilst you are here there is no escaping it. Our homes dont automatically have AC. The humidity here is outrageous. plus even if it rains, its not always cold lol xx 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 But welcome, I hope you enjoy our beautiful Country xxx

In Derbyshire, Bakewell is really just a stones throw away from Chatsworth and is gorgeous. They have a very pretty old bridge, and a minute's walk away, a very very cute secondhand bookshop called Book End. (I am from Stockport originally, which is very close!)
If you do have time, Lyme Park was where the 1995 Pemberley was filmed and is also in Derbyshire, just to give you the choice of both!

Ok as someone who has always lived in the UK I'm worried that if you are expecting fairytale adventures and an airbrushed lifestyle you are in for a shock.
Please don't get wrong the UK and Scotland are stunning places to visit but we are a dialed back version of the movies when it comes to the people. We passionate about the little things in life and yes tea and how it's made matters more than you know. Many Americans think because we share a language and some culture we are the same.
We are not.
Don't get me wrong you are respectful and responsible and will always be welcome, but it won't be what you were expecting.

When you're in Oxford, hit Blackwells obviously. If you like stationery, go to Scriptum! It's an amazing shop.

Stonehenge isn't on your list! I'm surprised! You can do it in a day from London. It's about 90 minutes on the train to Salisbury from London Waterloo and there are buses just outside the station that take you there.

If you are going to Pitlochry, try to take an hour out to visit the Highland Chocolatier which is 6 miles away. The most amazing cafe.

You need to include some north England areas too - Howarth, Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, Barnard Castle, Durham, York... and the many cosy villages in between!
