It's a form of therapy for some people and it can be grieving, unable to have kids, and used for several different therapy related illnesses. Unfortunately my younger sister had diabetic issues since birth and over 100 surgeries that prevent her from having kids and with her health she isn't the ideal candidate for adoption but has always had the desire to be a mommy so her therapist recommended the reborn dolls. They have helped her more than anyone would know. So please kindly don't judge and please educate yourself on these they have actually helped so many people.
