I hate Himeno but I felt so bad for aki 🙁

I don't understand the hate Himeno receives. Many people judge her based solely on one scene and ignore the entire context of her character. Fujimoto writes human characters, full of flaws, emotions, mistakes, and contradictions, and that's precisely why Himeno is so well-written. She represents pain, loss, emotional exhaustion, and love for someone she truly cared about. Regarding the ships, I find the Aki x Angel relationship beautiful as a friendship, but taking it to a romantic level is unnecessary, because it's never shown that either of them felt romantic attraction for the other. Aki saving Angel doesn't mean love, just as he protected Denji and Power because they were important to him. On the other hand, Himeno did have love for Aki, something the story makes clear. And although Aki never had the opportunity to fall in love with her because of everything he was going through, it's undeniable that Himeno was one of the most important people in his life. That's why I think it's unfair to reduce Himeno to her mistakes when precisely her flaws, feelings, and contradictions are what make her one of the most human and best-written characters in Chainsaw Man.
