Nobody questions Sue being a strategist as if she’s not the most powerful overall out of her core team. Instead they complain about her shields, but shields are her main thing. People have been wanting Jubilee as a strategist for ages and nobody questions it, but like Gambit, she also causes explosions. Nobody questions Rocket either or Loki. The devs worked around those characters to put them in their current roles. Why is it so hard to believe that they could continue designing characters for roles you wouldn’t expect them to be in?

They act as if emma frost and dr strange are buff and tanky in the comics or movies. Like the devs physically buffed up their physiques and gave them abilities that are more vanguard coded. They made gambit and flipping ULTRON stratgists. If we followed the “lore” then the entire game would be duelists with the exception of a few characters

Cyclops tank: primary beam deals less damage but pushes people, can push teammates to give them a boost or push them out of danger, can push enemies away from strategic points, secondary beam still ricochets but slows as well, split beam ability marks enemies for a time, downward beam pushes enemies back and has a 5m radius, ultimate is the same but also stuns people like Thing's ult
