I think he also smiled normally when Pomni hugged him. And in the Bar scene when he noticed Pomni's reaction to The Dissapearing Guy😂 His smile was way smaller than normal one and after that he had wider one again.

I think that even though people say Ribbit was better for him... I'm not sure about it. Not about relationship, cuz Jax wouldn't be able to be in one, but even as a friend. At least not without working on themself, as well as Jax. Ribbit wanted to be have strong emotional connection with him, but he wasn't ready for it, she was almost obsessed with making it work, ignoring Jax problems, cuz she wanted so much to relate to him. It took her long time to even confront for real with him, wanted to fix it and probably never thought that it was Jax problem and insecurities, not her fault. She didn't try to talk with others about those problems, she isolated from the cast too, not only Jax. Pomni is better for Jax, cuz she can take care of herself, she doesn't let him to manipulate her, she confronts him with not just emotions, but facts. She wants him to be clear and she does it just after something happened. Ot was important to Jax, cuz she didn't let him to stay in his comfort zone and being delusional, he had to confront her words and that need to make him at least do some steps to change. He wasn't able to stay in the same place, cuz he knew she will confront him again. STH personal: like my parents lol xd They argue often, but they have a rule - don't go to sleep before everything between you and other person is clarified. And they are together over 30y as a healthy pair.
