@carrotlaneofficial: If you’re going to say market cap doesn’t matter when calculating expected value, tell me what metric you use instead. What framework are you using to estimate upside, downside, and potential returns if not market cap? Before jumping to “he doesn’t know what he’s talking about” or “he hasn’t done his research,” explain the alternative methodology you’re relying on. Because every valuation model, whether directly or indirectly, has to account for the size of the opportunity and the amount of capital required to achieve a given return. I’m genuinely interested in hearing the alternative.
