This was by far one of the strongest films during Disney's experimental era, they went so far out of their comfort zone and broke their own rules when making it. It resulted in arguably the funniest movie they've ever produced.

The thing that absolutely messed with me is, they got Eartha Kitt to perform the voice of the villain, even recorded an AMAZING villain song with her, and…. They threw it out. At least it got saved and included on a compilation cd of Disney villain songs, and you can find it on YouTube with storyboards sort of showing what the sequence would have looked like. Look up “snuff out the light.”

Fun fact! when asked to turn over the script to the movie, they couldn't till after it came out. The making of this movie was so chaotic and unscripted that they didn't have a solid script till after it was done.

this has a huge lore because the script wasn't real and its mostly just made up by the voice actors

I've been told that when disney asked for the script for their archive, they were like "What script ? we winged it". don't know of it's true but it feels right. haha!
