How to deal with being ignored! being ignored by others is often a common narcissist tactic to devalue you. They often will pretend that you are not there, that you didn't just walk in the room. They will ignore you when you speak to them, if they work at Starbucks, you'll be standing at the counter, and they'll pretend they don't see you, even though there's nobody in there and you're the only two in there, they will pretend that they don't see you. I have met and dealt with many narcissists and believe me this is a common game that they play. This is just another tool in their toolbox of tricks to try to devalue and make you feel like garbage. The goal of this also is to make you upset, they'd love to see you cry, they'd love to see you beg and ask them what's wrong because this will give them a feeling of power and control over you. So that's the aim of why they're doing this and what you have to do is say to yourself, they're a narcissist and ignore them. There is no other solution, but to ignore them and walk away and get away from these people as fast as possible Go no contact, have as little interaction with them as possible, because there is no cure for narcissism.
