After going through the whole thing I’m realizing it’s easier than you think and you can totally do it yourself. It’s been about 3 1/2 years now and we are loving it. I did a lot of research beforehand and compared it to a gunnite or a fiberglass and as far as care goes the vinyl liner was the best choice for us. A gunnite typically needs resurfaced after about 5 to 10 years and fiberglass needs some care/ patching after 5 to 10 years and a vinyl liner needs a new liner every 5 to 8 years. We love the look the care is the same and so that made sense for us. Doing it this way saved us thousands.
