Okay so what I’ve gathered is make the darkest shade in the middle of the hair, lightest outside for rim lighting using a spray paint brush, then layer different colours which are close to the dark hair colour for individual strands either fully or on one side, then use a mix of the hair and skin colour and airbrush that on closest to the face lightly, then use a more saturated and warmer tone a little darker than the lightest colour and add specks of that to the upper middle of the hair along a line and make sure to chop it up slightly and try aim for layering it onto individual strands not fully even so it doesn’t look too unnatural. Then layer the lightest rim colour light on top of those specks. Finally add a slightly lighter more blue-toned shade for shadows as a darker rim light and so that the strands stick out more. Anyways hope this helps.
