@wallaceungwiluk: Walrus is one of our three main food sources here on St. Lawrence Island, along with bowhead whale and seals. Out of the three, my family eats walrus the most often. Having different walrus dishes about three to four times per week throughout the whole year. We mainly eat our native foods for dinner and then for lunch if there is leftovers. Here is how we prep and cook one of the many dishes that come from the walrus.
