Every practice is different and not everybody has to follow the same practice! I too believe the moon phases/times of day have a lot to do with the energy aligned however it doesn’t make you any less powerful if you don’t follow the phases

Can you walk away while a candle burns all the way down? And if I’m sealing a jar and the candle goes out on its own should I relight it and keep going or end the spell?
