Absolutely loved Disclosure Day. Some people were expecting a typical Hollywood flash sci-fi movie. It is so much deeper than that.

the thing about Disclosure Day is... it should have come out 15 years ago. it's much much more interested in the human questions it asks than in making a truly engaging chase movie, but the chase sequences prevent it from sitting with those questions as it should. I'll take imperfect but interesting any day, but as the comments reflect, that is not what general audiences have been trained to expect, let alone enjoy. it also argues for a conclusion recent history has more or less proven implausible
