Your nightmare is my real life. My babies are 28 & 24, with babies of their own. That nightmare was a gift from God to keep an attitude of gratitude in hard beautiful days you are IN. But rest assure you will continue to grow with them. As your house empties you will process it in real time. You will grieve it but new joys and beautiful days are still ahead. It’s a joy and an honor to mother my young adults. They still need me it just looks different, and now I get to be their kids Honey 👵🏻 and ogle let me tell! They ARE MY CROWN OF GLORY for all the hard days coming…..you have 4 kiddos, God willing lots of grandbabies are coming!!! You just wait sister! Our entire lives are blessed and it just gets better! As a mum who now has to share my kids with 50/50 Custody, and one kid stays with her dad full time, this is very painful. I raised them pretty much on my own while in my marriage but now I have to miss out on my kids.

That's when the grandchildren and the great grandchildren come in. You will literally feel like you're spending the day with your child as a baby! It is amazing- there's nothing like it on planet Earth. getting to go back in time like- that there is nothing more priceless. And you don't know that you're going to get to do that until you're doing it and then you have this moment of like wow look how far we've come!

I'm 63. I found a plastic skeleton under my sheets this morning and I had to step around a Little Tikes car in the hallway. A sensory swing is hanging from the ceiling and race car sippy cups are on the kitchen counter. Thank God for grandchildren

Oh Mommy.. I just bawled my eyes out! My children are 24(lives on her own out of town),20 soon(home from university) and 15 highschool.. I cry all the time at how fast they grew up! All I ever wanted to do when I was younger was to be a good Mom- a loving Mom- better than I had! That was my life.. they are my life and now they are older and don’t always need me. My heart is in love with the women that they are all growing up to be(3 girls) but my heart is also broken with them not needing me or not seeing them all the time! It’s so real for me right now. I’m crying as I write this!
