And how well is any city in the United States, much less the coordination between federal, state, and local, to deal or to handle or to counter such an attack? I’d say it’s not very encouraging.”

that's a valid argument and I would say that the defense department should provide additional guidance to private sector on how to help solve the problem. we have the manufacturing expertise to produce a lot cost effective device.

That is a great reason not to encourage attack and for diplomacy. This is speaking as a 25 year Air defense professional. You can’t stop everything so make it less likely to be attacked.

To be frank - I don’t even know if such a defense even exists in the world. What stops people from these activities? A good foreign policy program that works with countries so they’re not interested in it in the first place
