Unfortunately, that is what happens when you provoke and belittle a serial killer on TV for thousands to see. He paid the price for his arrogance. A decision he regrets every waking moment since that fateful night when he openend that door. He never stopped grieving his wife and daughter. He is so sorry, alas nothing can bring them back to the living and he knows it. A grieving soul hurting for so long with no acceptance for closure. He became obsessed with revenge, because that was his way of making up for his mistake, one that cost him everything. Obsession ate away at him though, Patrick became a depressed man with only one purpose : To get closure by killing the murderer of his wife, Angela, and his daughter, Charlotte, ignoring everything else on his path. Then, he could die for all he cares, but he'll have repaired his mistake at least. That is the story of Patrick Jane's tragedic fall from sanity. One he was responsible for. A twisted mentality that no one should have, but then again who am I to judge? I would probably think the same way if I were in his shoes. After all, to grieve this deeply means to have loved just as much. Those who have lost themselves have probably had one too many bad days. Patrick Jane is one of those people.
