Personally, I don't think object storage will ever take off. I think content should be stored in a database alongside the metadata as a byte array. Much more efficient to keep it all in one place rather than relying on multiple services, which could have outages and open you up to more failure points. Maybe this is why I'm in QA and not architecture.
