After the death of his father, the young chief Philip Ohimai rose up with invaluable courage and focus to shoulder his entire family's responsibilities. From the age of about 22 years above, he went into farming occupation. In the history of Ikhin community, from 1907 till early 1982s, chief Philip Ohimai was one of the most accomplished and successful farmers from Ikhin Clan. He was a great provider to humanity. During his earthly journey he provided a lot of materials and financial assistance to his extended family including the poor, the needy, and strangers that possibly came around him. Chief Philip Ohimai was a man of honour, trustworthy, versatile personality. Chief Philip Ohimai was a man of many parts; he has a penchant for dedication excellence and purposeful leadership. He belongs to the Homo-Sociological school of thought. He was a born capable, competent leader extraordinary. A team player and autocratic and flexible personality, he is indeed an "Edo pride". Since 1907 till 1964 the year he was enthroned the 11th Oba of Ikhin Clan. The level of success attained since he established agricultural enterprises at Ugboye Farm land, has been a marvelous. Thanks to his visionary driven approach and unflinching determination to succeed in farming and community leader. He was an epitome of hard work. He symbolizes total perfection. A resounding gifted administrator and competent manager of people and resources within his family circle and the entire Amesan 1 & 2 Quarters in Ikhin Clan. Chief Philip Ohimai Aigbokhaode was a member of Chief and Elders in council ruling of Ikhin Clan, since 1907 till 1964, the year he was fully enthroned, as the 11th Oba in Ikhin Clan.
