Or, hear me out, maybe we didn't fall off cuz they nerfed ults, maybe we stopped playing because of the hate wave we get for simply wanting to play a role. Every game was threats, harassment, hate, mocking, getting blamed for their bad plays and positioning.

As a strat main, I’ve slowed down on playing because they desperately need new strategists. It gets boring af to play the same 3 characters every game.

hear me out. supp role is dependent on the other roles doing their job and with not only the ult nerf but support neutral healing ult nerf boosted dps couldnt play and fell in rank causing support mains to take a hit as well since they depend on dps and tanks to actually not suck

I think a lot of support and tank players are just done. out of the last thirty ranked games I've tried to play, there has been exactly one where we had two strats and two tanks. every other game has been triple or even quadruple dos, who then yell at the lone support/tank

Support might have the lowest solo carry potential. I have a 60%+ win rate on all my dps mains but stuck at 50% on my support mains

matter of the fact is its really hard to rank up as support. Dps is an insanely easy role and you can rank up much easier as a dps, leaving largely dps players at the top.

I’ve seen a lot of people say this but I’m a die hard supp fan but even I’m tired of playing it. If we don’t win it’s automatically the Strats fault. It’s always heals and people never blame you nicely. It’s exhausting and I think a lot of us are simply moving to another role. Also idk what game you’re playing but I’m usually getting my ult quick asf as Strat so I don’t think that’s the issue

one other point is the Vanguard shortage. coz DPS don't swap, so it are usually the Straegists, that fill in as Vanguard.

tbh. I guess a lot of us just got tired by the constant flame, the constant dps whine and having the class with the least agency. If you don't healbot, you're throwing and all blame is laid on you, if you get dived, it's your fault for dying, but you're not allowed to have anti dive abilities or else dive dps whines. If you have a strong ult, all dps' whine about you being OP, if you have a weak ult, you're throwing for picking the character. You're blamed for the dps poor positioning, for not healing characters that stay in your blindspot (aka not with the rest of the team, we have 5 people to heal). It's the only class that get hate for just existing, constant complaints about being OP, fewest characters to choose from, target bans constantly, least agency but highest demands. So I honestly think that I'm not the only strategist that just gave up and started playing dps instead.

Also DPS gets way more points than the other roles. So all you boosted chumps climb faster than everyone else.

or dps get boosted more easily. they get more points in matches and climb more easily unlike supports. this propaganda to make supports seem not good at the game is just stupid and makes no sense
