Here in Colombia it's very common. its name here, instead of being Trax, is Tracker. It had a terrible cooling system and was poorly equipped.

in my owning of my 2017 trax for less than a year i repaired: PCV diaphragm, purge valve, lower control arm, tpms, the entire catback exhaust, downpipe o2 sensor, turbo (replaced right before i bought it but still), three lightbulbs, the infotainment screen don’t work properly it flickers, now i have to fix the vent selector dial (it doesn’t work anymore), don’t buy these cars unless you know how to work on them

Reliability wise tho they can’t be that bad. My mom has an encore which is basically the trax and she has never taken very good care of a single car she owned but this one is holding up pretty well
