Draco and Harry are together but the closer it gets to the climax of the war, the more Draco realizes how stupid and unrealistic they're being. He was endangering Harry by being close with him; Harry needed to hate the Death Eaters if he had any chance at all at defeating them and Voldemort, so he wipes his memory of him. However, bits of their togetherness still remain with Harry and he still finds himself thinking of Draco for some strange reason. Flashbacks hit him every now and then and he doesn't know what they mean. Basically this video shows Harry as he was in the film, finding Horcruxes, etc, but with the added background of him and Draco being in love. When it gets to the battle of Hogwarts, Draco has to confront Harry in the RoR, but that was where they shared most of their memories. It was a place they could go and be themselves, not the chosen one and not a death eater. Draco can't summon the magic he needs in order to hurt Harry, and he ends up caught in the fire. Harry turns around when he's almost out the room and realizes Draco will die if he leaves him, and part of him hurts at the thought so he goes back and saves him. Too emotional and afraid, Draco runs off and Harry just brushes it off. I didn't have the time to show everything, but just think of the book/movie; Harry finds Snape, goes to the pensieve and realizes he has to die. When his body is brought to Hogwarts, Draco feels unimaginable anguish but he can't do anything or react, like Ginny had, because no one knew about them. He has to suffer by himself. BUT, then when Harry shows he wasn't really dead, Draco reacts immediately, wanting nothing more than to help him. He throws him his wand and watches him as he kills Voldemort. He's sure that now, with everything finished, with the Dark Lord gone, he can be with Harry again. But it's not that easy. Harry had been seeing Ginny before anyway, they both knew that, but now Harry was seeing her without the love he had for Draco inside him. Draco sees them kiss and can't bring himself to ruin the moment for Harry and lets him get on with his life. He was never good for him anyway.» 」 Editor's notes: ✨️So... hai.
