What helped me is just getting dressed , doing my hair , doing a little makeup even if I was just going to the grocery store feeling pretty made me feel a bit better

Get up and shower every day. Even when you don’t want to, do it. Get up and get moving. Put on clean clothes, stay out of pjs all day. Do you hair, put on makeup (if that’s your thing). The best advice my mom ever gave me was just get up and get moving!! ❤️Sincerely, a mom of 6- so I know how tough it can be.

You are doing all the things! Try to treat yourself to something that just makes you happy at least once a week if you can! You ROCK!

Awww!! I had two littles back to back and I struggled alot initially. But the second time around it took me about 7 months. I reconnected with things that I truly loved and it helped. Plus I realized that my littles brought out a new version of me that I needed to make room for. But give yourself grace girlie and be kind to yourself!! You’re doing a great job 🥰 🦋

One thing that’s helping me and I’m 15 months postpartum before I had my baby. I used to love to get my nails done so that has been something that has really made me feel good and every time I get paid or get a little money in I try to always buy me something or just take a day off at work and have it to myself of course take my baby to daycare, but I just tried to make sure that things that I used to like and do before I had my son. I still tried to do that like I love jewelry so I buy rings and things like that

After the NICU I made it a point that I had to get up early and shower. Even if I was exhausted I needed to do that first, get dressed, and get coffee or make coffee. Also not trying to do too much at once has been so helpful!

Girl proud of you for speaking up on how you’re doing. My advice, make a little checklist for you to do every day or weekly. Simple tasks: Get outside. Paint your nails. Brush your teeth. Shower alone with your fav music. Get into a cute outfit you love even if you have nowhere to go. Etc🫶🏼 you got this mama
