As a phlebotomist what in the world is going on… this is not in… we use different tubes with different additives for specific tests. This will not work, plus not all tests are done with room temperature specimens. Sometimes it needs to be away from direct light or be on ice.

There are a million things they can check thru blood work. What determines what is checked? Is cholesterol checked? Are your liver enzymes checked? etc.. Do you decide what they check? Sounds crazy!
