I’m so confused as to who gave her the advice to trademark the phrase in the first place. In my opinion, as someone who went to law school and took trademark classes, no competent trademark attorney should have given that advice. The first thing you learn in class, when talking about applying for a trademark, is to look up any possible commercial product that could compete with your mark
