I’m thinking myself and my husband open a Lisa before it’s too late. He’s 38 this year and is self employed and unfortunately has no preparation for retirement. I’ve got a good work pension as I work in a school but I’m 35 this year and only started the job last year so we need to really start thinking about putting some money away for the future!

Good to know, thank you! I’m contributing the max to my workplace pension but won’t be able to withdraw til I’m 57, so exploring options to save towards earlier retirement. Sounds like S&S ISA is the only option if wanting to withdraw early (say 50)!
