Facial asymmetry is not always about the skin or fat. Very often, it starts with the jaw. The medial pterygoid and other deep chewing muscles play a major role in how the jaw sits and moves. When one side is tighter or more dominant, the jaw subtly shifts. That shift changes how force is distributed. And that’s why cheeks can start to look different from one side to the other. One side may look fuller. The other flatter or more tense. This is mechanics, not genetics. Daily habits matter here. Chewing mostly on one side reinforces the imbalance. Using both sides helps distribute load more evenly. That’s why I recommend: • conscious bilateral chewing • daily balancing exercises for the jaw • releasing deep tension, not forcing symmetry But it’s also important to be honest. Some asymmetries come from dental structure, bite patterns, or bone shape. Those cannot be fully corrected with massage. What this work does is prevent things from getting worse. It reduces compensatory tension. It helps the face adapt more evenly over time. Not perfection. Prevention and balance. Save this if jaw asymmetry has been confusing. And follow if you want the best transformation 💓
