I think they'll dry out like that but I've seen containers like these ones and think they would be great to depot certain putty like formulas

They’ll dry out, don’t do it, I took a little bit on another pan to be more travel friendly and I regretted it, fortunately i just took a little bit.

I’ve done this before! They will dry out 100% unfortunately. If you lay a sheet of glad press n seal over them they’ll stay fresh.
