I never comment. Ever. But I feel like I must now. PHM is not a kids movie, it’s a movie for everyone, for families, for a general audience, it is for a broad range of people to enjoy, and that should not be a bad thing. Also it is based on a book. If you are interested in the science it is based on, read the book. Rocky is an alien bro, he did not simply get injured he nearly died, also it’s not about whether or not we as the audience think he’ll get back up, that moment was about Grace and how he felt, Grace felt guilty and we watch as he takes care of him or tries his best to despite not knowing how to, which I think Ryan Gosling did great in portraying. It does have an optimistic narrative, but why is that a bad thing? Why does optimism, or a positive narrative, automatically make it less grounded to you? I watched your other videos on project Hail Mary and I fully believe you didn’t like it(which is fine dude you are allowed to not like things) though I do think you are nitpicking. Though as I say that, even if you are nitpicking that’s fine, maybe those are just things that bother you specifically. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, so respect for watching it still. I don’t mean to be rude, please don’t take it that way. The science realistic though, more than Interstellar by a long shot, but it is okay to use some fiction to make some science work in theory.
