My name is Dr. C Boyd and I own The African American Cafe (Black Owned) in the First Incorporated African American Municipality in Prince George's County Maryland and the Second in the entire state of Maryland. It's called North Brentwood. The community was a little Telsa and Rosewood all in one. The former slaves and owners who were sold these lots because the community was a flood zone and nobody wanted the property. Our restaurant, is a small restaurant that has outstanding food. Yet, our people drive by and will go straight to the Chinese Carryout. Our reviews are excellent and the service is top-tier. Please continue to push unity and encourage our people to support our own communities and institutions. Many of our own people said we would not be successful because the name screams pro-black. I think the name screams pro-unity and good food because the African American genetics are the most diverse of any other race in the world and we make the best food. What are your thoughts?
