Trust your gut, he didn’t clarify anything and he was also testing your boundaries to see if you would realize what’s going on. You did, he stood down. If he’s a predator which it seems, he clocked everything and wanted to come back. At the very least if he’s just dumbfounded he needs to be called out and get some situational awareness training. But, my money is on he knew what he was doing.
