@travis.woo.trades: A lot of people see a rich guy around younger women and assume it’s purely transactional. I think the real answer is usually more social than that. Money opens access to certain experiences. Flights, boats, events, trips, tables, whatever. And once a man can afford those things, he usually wants people to share them with. Here’s the part people don’t talk about: A lot of men don’t like being paid for. It feels weird. It can feel like status loss. A lot of women are just more comfortable accepting the invite and enjoying the experience for what it is. So sometimes what people think is some deep mystery is really just this: one person can fund the experience other people are happy to come and the group forms around access, energy, and timing That doesn’t mean there’s never a transactional layer. I just think people oversimplify it. A lot of social dynamics make more sense when you understand status, comfort, and who’s actually willing to say yes. What do you think?
