Awesome, me too. Let’s teach you how to improve rotational balance so you fall less and
feel more confident on your feet.
This drill called HIP SWEEPS are super effective at stimulating the balance centers of your
brain.
You’re going to alternate between stepping across midline and outside of midline of your
body.
KEYS for this movement:
- MOVE FROM YOUR HIP: focus on moving from your hip joint and not your spine.
- MOVING OUTSIDE: use your glute to rotate your body.
- MOVING INSIDE: use your adductor to pull your body across center.

This is a simple exercise that you can do anywhere (standing in line, talking on the phone,
watching TV). You can practice balance training all day.
