I can’t get off my horse too close to other horses at a competition cause he insist every horse gives me space. He does the same with my mom and little kids. Which tells me it’s more protective than jealousy.

had two mares that would circle me like sharks 😂 they didnt like each other but they liked every other horse less. so when the others were acting a fool I got put in the middle and they'd just spin and kick if anything got too close. I wasnt allowed to leave the safety circle until the nonsense migrated to another field 😂

Growing up I always had to walk to the feed trough for my families cattle and I would always call either my horse or my donkeys to walk with me and they’d always keep the cows back so I didn’t get pushed around 🥰
