@annie_in_sydney: 🦆if peking duck is your love language, listen up. this june, holy duck in chippendale is running a $48 all you can eat duck deal. eatclub got me in the door. but would i come back and pay full price? holy duck is a casual, fusion-driven roast duck diner on kensington street. sitting smack-bang between central and broadway on sydney's favourite foodie laneway. the vibe on a sunday night was absolutely fantastic. buzzy, warm, and the kind of place that just feels like a good time. 🍽️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗗 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘴 🥬 duck san chow bao 🥢 duck spring rolls 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 🍚 duck fried rice 🥞 crispy duck pancakes (upgrade to roast duck for $20) 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵 🍊 mandarin sorbet 🍵 hot jasmine tea included 💬 𝗠𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 we made the classic mistake of going too hard on the entrees. ordered 2 of everything because we wanted our money's worth, and then the star of the show arrived. the crispy duck pancakes and we were already half full. because that duck? unreal. incredibly crispy skin on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. not dry at all. the service was fast, the value is seriously hard to beat, and the jasmine tea being included was a nice touch. the one con? the mandarin sorbet. it was a little too creamy and milky for what i expected from a sorbet. felt slightly out of place after all that duck. minor gripe. overall. this whole concept is just really well done and absolutely worth your money. 💡 𝗧𝗜𝗣 keep an eye on eatclub — they sometimes have up to 35% off and that's how i got in. but honestly, even at full price? this one passes the test. 📍 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗬 𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗞 📌 2-10 kensington street, chippendale nsw 2008 @Kensington Street #asianfood #sydneyeats #sydneyfood #ayce #CapCut
