Lisinopril made me have a deep hacking cough all the time. Allergic to it and had to get on another medication.

Waittttt I didn’t know that. I had to get off lisinopril for a dry cough. I didn’t even know. I went to a PCP visit and while getting my vitals I coughed and she goes “are you on lisinopril?” I said yeah.. “that’s what’s causing your cough.” Meds are crazy.

Any chance you can tell me why I might become allergic to cool air all of a sudden I have an AC unit in my room I live in Florida Florida. It was 104 today lol and for the last week when I go into my room and get comfortable the cool air feels like my veins are burning.

Wow, ace inhibitors just gave me a cough. I had to stop taking the medication but I didn’t even know this was a potential side effect, even though rare.

I remember a few months ago there was a black person who had the same issue happen, I forget which doctor on tik tok who stated it’s very common in black patients. Which I feel like should be known!
