@the.nurse.erica: The KS BON wanted to label her with Unprofessional Conduct and place her on national databases. They tried to take her nursing license. She wouldn’t be able to get the required malpractice insurance to work as a Nurse Practitioner with that label. Amy didn’t just fight for her license, she took on the entire KS BON! Throughout it all, the Board continued it’s malicious pursuit of Amy. Now they’re reversing previous cases, nurses can apply for compensation from the Board and all board members will be replaced! Absolutely wonderful. I have been in the medical field for 41 years. Nursing profession is its own cancer. The best thing for nursing is to unionize, making sure the union reps are strong advocates for them.
