@legacyoflove.805: Sweet Miles, What started as IVDD turned into the cruel reality of myelomalacia. We prayed for a miracle, but his little body had other plans. Today, we said goodbye while holding him in our arms, surrounding him with the love he deserved. No dog should leave this world alone, and Miles didn’t. He was cherished until his very last breath. As heartbreaking as this is, we find comfort in believing that Miles is no longer in pain. He’s running free now, reunited with our beloved Chino and my mom, April. We like to think they were waiting for him, ready to guide him home. Rescue is full of impossible decisions and shattered hearts, but it is also full of love. Miles knew that love. He knew safety.
