For anyone worried: I know daily contacts are unaffordable for many but if you can afford them, daily contacts wearers are 4x less likely to get acanthamoeba and researchers believe 30-65% of cases could be prevented by using daily contacts. You still shouldn’t sleep or shower in them!! but your chances decrease drastically either way
