Transit security and police aren’t paid per ticket. They’re paid to enforce the rules that keep the system running. If someone didn’t pay their fare, issuing a ticket is literally part of the job. Most of these people went through training, certifications, background checks, and years of work to get where they are. Filming them and acting like they’re personally profiting from enforcement just shows a misunderstanding of how the system works. You don’t have to like the rules, but harassing people for doing the job they were hired to do isn’t activism, it’s just harassment.
