Boomer's fall for this... example Andy Cohen got a call from some1 pretending to be his bank and said some1 tried to empty his account and they sent him a link that gave them access to his phone screen as he logged into his bank and they basically cleaned it out.

No, this sounds more like they just spoofed the number they were dialling from, there’s no evidence here that receiving calls or ownership of the number was transferred, although that can be a thing

Yeah, that once happened to me and my mom years ago, I think in like 2018 we were eating dinner in the living room, but then she gets a call. She looks at her phone, looks at me, and it said that I was calling her (which was impossible because I remember at the time I didn’t have my phone on me. It was charging in the next room.) but anyway, it looked just like I was calling her and being curious my mom answered the call and I can remember this like extremely creepy breathing noise and then the call went dead and hung up on itself. Still gives me chills to this day.
