It is probably better to call this a “machine learning model”. I get that AI may technically be accurate, but the public perception of what constitutes AI is way different, to the point where using that term is misleading.

AI is an ambiguous term, this type of model has been used for medical diagnostics for more than 10 years and works nothing like ChatGPT. no one called it "AI" then but now people put it in the same category as grok.
